How much is the course and how do I pay?

The course costs R3 600, payable in two instalments. A 50% deposit is payable upon registration and the remaining balance is to be paid on or before the completion of the course.

Payment can be made by EFT.

How long is the course?

The duration is 6 months, but you may complete it at your own pace, taking your other commitments into consideration. Some people finish it in a shorter period, and some prefer to take longer.

What are the prerequisites to enrol?

You have to have a matric certificate. The course is mainly aimed at law students and legal practitioners. If you are in another field, you might still find it of value. Please reach out to us to discuss your needs.

What is the structure of the course?

The course consists of 6 modules, with each module focusing on a different aspect of the future. It is all done online, although you have direct access to lecturers and assistants to offer guidance and support where needed.

The following modules are covered:

  1. Introduction to Futures Thinking and Law

  2. Exponential Technologies

  3. Trial Technology & E Discovery

  4. The Business of Law

  5. Big Data

  6. Cybersecurity

After each module a multiple choice assessment has to be completed and one research assignment of 2000 words at the end of the course to determine your overall competence for accreditation.

Assessments are loaded on the first Tuesday of every month during your enrolment.

Do I get a completion certificate?

Upon successfully completing the course you will receive a Certificate of Completion. It will be sent to you via email, or we can post you a copy to an address of your convenience.

How do I know if I have been accepted?

Once we have received your payment, a welcome email will be sent providing all necessary information on logging onto the training portal and commencing with the course.

How do I apply?

Click on Enrol in the menu bar, complete the requested information, you will receive an e-mail from us with your deposit invoice and details of commencement. The course is open to anyone with an interest in the field, with a valid matric certificate.
